Once you’ve started building your online Contact Manager, you’ll have a network of people who you can start introducing to SendOutCards®. It is important to let others know what you are doing and how the online system can benefit them. Invite others to meet with you, let them know that they can send some cards for free through a Gift Account Walkthrough, and start making appointments. The more people you make contact with, the more Gift Account Walkthroughs you’ll be able to share, and you’ll be surprised at how many people will start joining your organization. There are three primary ways to reach out to others:
First-look Cards
This is the most effective way to make contact
with others. A first-look card shows others exactly what you are
doing and helps them see the benefits of using the system! Next
time you make contact with them, they’ll be very excited about
the personalized card you sent. Adding one of The Daily 8 Tools
mentioned in the “Build Your Contact Manager” section of this
booklet is also a great way to introduce others to SendOutCards®.

Phone Calls
When making contact, call your prospect and set up
an appointment. Calling people is more personal and usually more
effective than e-mails, and it works as a great follow up after they’ve
received a heartfelt card from you. Ask them if they liked the card
and if they would like to send a few for free.
E-mails
Utilizing e-mails is a great way to keep in contact with a large amount of people and send out occasional updates about your exciting new business. You’ll always want to make sure you are sending cards first, before sending an e-mail, when you are making contact with others.
Business Professionals Verses Family & Friends
It’s important to keep in mind the variety of interests others might have in SendOutCards®. Business professionals will want to know how it can help them improve their business relationships and communicate effectively with their clients.
