Following up with potential card senders as well as your SendOutCards® organization is an integral part of finding success. It’s a well known saying at SendOutCards® that “the fortune is in the follow-up.” When you follow up it shows you care and strengthens your relationships. It reminds others of the SendOutCards® opportunity and helps them understand how useful and enjoyable the system really is. Here are a few proven ways you can use to follow up with others:

With Potential Card Senders...

"Thank You" Cards

A thank you card after a Gift Account Walkthrough goes a long way. It’s always a good idea to send a SendOutCards® DVD, InTouch Journal newspaper insert, or a gift along with your “thank you” card. You can find these inserts in The Daily 8 Tools sections of the gifts.

Cards on Holidays & Special Occasions

Whether prospects enroll with SendOutCards® or not, you’ll want to send them heartfelt cards for holidays and birthdays. They will never forget your kind act and if they feel the need to join in the future, you know exactly who they will go to!

Card Campaigns

Using a series of cards to introduce others to SendOutCards® is very effective, especially if you are sincere in your approach. Always leave your contact information and follow up with a call or e-mail once the campaign ends, and remember to follow your promptings when creating a campaign. To help you out, we’ve created a sample campaign:

First Card

“thank you for your time” or “nice meeting you” card that you’ve personalized using PicturePlus™

Second Card

a friendly “keeping in touch” card with some brownies

Third Card

the Opportunity Overview DVD or the Products & Services Brochure with a card introducing them to ways SendOutCards® can benefit them

Phone Calls & E-mails

Though phone calls can be more effective when setting up an appointment, e-mails are a great way to keep up with a group of people who have shown some interest in SendOutCards® but have not yet joined. A monthly newsletter updating everyone about your life and showcasing how you’ve been using SendOutCards® can be a fun way to remind people of what you do. Remember, e-mails are a great follow-up only after you have sent a card.

With Your Distributor Downline and Customers...

With a SendOutCards® account you have the ability to send e-mails to either your distributor team, to customers, or to both groups at once. This is an important tool that if used effectively can produce exciting results. There are various ways you can “follow up” with your organization:

Downline Coaching

You’ll want to be actively coaching anyone who has enrolled into your organization. You can do this through in-person meetings, conference calls, e-mails, and motivational cards. Create a system that works for you and remain consistent. Also, be willing to work with those who call you for help. Supporting your dowline is a great way to help your organization grow, and as your team grows so will your income. Many distributors start doing this right away with “welcome aboard” cards.

Customer Check-Ups & Upgrades

It’s a great idea to keep in contact with customers. It reminds them that they have access to our online greeting card system and gives them the opportunity to refer anyone who might be interested in SendOutCards® to you. You’ll also be surprised at how many customers upgrade to distributors after realizing how easy it is to share the system.

Cards on Holidays & Special Occasions

There is nothing as powerful as a heartfelt card. This shows your downline and customers that you are not only business associates but friends. Sending cards on holidays and special occasions is a sincere expression that you care for them.
