The Gift Account Walkthrough
is where everyone can see how
great the idea of SendOutCards®
really is! Now that you've made
appointments to introduce others
to SendOutCards®, you'll be able
to share your first Gift Account
Walkthroughs with others. These
are one of the most enjoyable
experiences you'll have as a
SendOutCards® distributor. When
others are able to send their first
card and see what the system is
capable of, they instantly show
interest in what you are doing, and
it makes it that much easier for you!
How a Gift Account Walkthrough Works
You'll only need to remember three simple steps when giving someone a walkthrough:
Direct Them to Your Personal SendOutCards® Page
Your SendOutCards® page is www.SendOutCards.com/(Your ID
Number). You can direct them to your page in person, by phone, or
through a card. You could also send an e-mail linking them to your
SendOutCards® page. Just make sure you've sent them a "first look"
card before contacting them through e-mail.
Have Them Click on Your Banner
This may sound simple, but make sure to let them know that a
video will begin to play that will walk them through signing up for
a gift account and sending their first greeting card. If you are on the
phone, stay with them in case they want to pause and ask questions.
Show Them the Three Ways to Get Started
Download
After the tutorial has ended, share your own experience with
SendOutCards® and ask them whether or not they would like to use
the system. If they say "yes" show them the three ways to get started,
and help them decide which option best fits their needs (See the
section, "Setting Up a New Card Sender"). If they say "no," realize
that this means "not now," and thank them for letting you introduce
them to what you do. It's always a good idea to ask them if they
know anyone else who might be interested. Remember that people
may say "no" more than six times before they eventually say "yes."
Once you have introduced several people to SendOutCards®, you'll
have improved at giving a Gift Account Walkthrough and will feel
more comfortable with the process. You may be tempted to skip the
automatic walkthrough video and walk them through it on your
own. We suggest that you instead continue with the automated
video, and for a very good reason: It can be duplicated by anyone
you share SendOutCards® with. Creating duplication means that
others are able to easily complete the same tasks that they see you
perform. When they see how simple it was for you to share the
walkthrough with them, they'll be more likely to join knowing they
can do the same!
