A Gift Account is a free trial of the system which you can set up to let others experience SendOutCards.
The Gift Account Walkthrough (GAW) is the most important step towards building an SOC business and sharing the system with others.
You are furnished with a free banner site that allows you to set up Automatic Gift Accounts for people in a simple and systematic way. Set yours up by going to the Management Tools section of your Main Menu.
1) Have your contact log onto your banner site (i.e. www.sendoutcards.com/1000,) either in person, or over the phone.
2) Tell them to “click to send a free card.” A voice prompt will walk them through sending a card in ten to fifteen minutes.
3) Stay with them on the phone, or in person, until they’ve completed the walkthrough and sent a card, in case they have questions.
4) Ask if they would have use for a system like this. If “no” ask if they can think of anyone else who might. If “yes” then show them the Three Ways To Get Started and help them decide which option is best for them.
• After you have improved and feel more comfortable, you’ll be tempted to skip the automatic GAW and do it on your own. You can if you like, but remember, if you do it yourself your contact will not be equipped to show it to others after you leave. If you let the SYSTEM work for you, then it can be duplicated all day long, by anyone who can push a button.
• You may edit someone’s gift account by going to your Contact Manager, finding their name, and clicking on Edit Gift Account.
• You may also do GAWs via an online webinar format. But remember, it’s not the watching of a GAW that teaches people how to use the system—it’s doing. It is recommended that if you use webinars to show the GAW, you follow up in person with those who are interested and walk them through a gift account individually.
